Main Responsibilities:

1.To work closely and professionally with the Mandarin Co-teacher to ensure the smooth running of daily routines.

2.To take full responsibility for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate program activities and assessment regarding the curriculum provided by school.

3.To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the children in supporting their learning.

4.To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community.

5.To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the children.

6.Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Kindergarten.

Requirements:

1.Native English speaker

2.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related areas

3.Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

4.Minimum 3 years’ full time teaching experience

5.ESL experience is desirable

6.Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills

7.Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies

8.Strong interests in leading extra-curriculum program

9.Strong interpersonal and communication skills

10.Basic knowledge of spoken Mandarin is an advantage
