Last week, SABK unveiled its "Masters Meet Imagination" exhibition, featuring 13 artworks where young creators reimagined classics by Van Gogh, Yayoi Kusama, and Gaudí. Through collages, prints, and clay sculptures, children transformed abstract art into vibrant microcosms from their unique perspectives. 

Highlights included K3A’s crayon Starry Night with smiling constellations, K2C’s foam-print Huizhou architecture hiding whimsical stories, and K3D’s "Polka Dot Pumpkin" celebrating Kusama’s iconic style. Pieces also reflected social themes: K1A deconstructed community roles with geometric shapes, K2B mirrored ancient landscapes through symmetrical prints, while K3 collaboratively painted a Hockney-inspired pastoral scroll. 

More than tribute to masters, this exhibition ignited children’s deeper connection with nature, culture, and society – proving creativity makes timeless art flourish anew.
